Club History
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Since it's beginning in 1968, the Muzzle Loaders of the Black Hills (MLBH) has been a family oriented Black Powder club. Many members started as kids themselves, and grew up with the fun of black powder shooting. The club has provided them with the chance to learn the enjoyment of the sport as well as the safe use of black powder firearms.
The activities of the MLBH can be enjoyed by all!
The Muzzle Loaders of the Black Hills have held an annual Rendezvous for over 35 years in the Black Hills of South Dakota. Muzzleloading shoots, knife & tomahawk throwing, kids games, and many, many other activities along with camping in a pre-1840 camp provide a fun-filled family event.
